The Conscience Of The King

With the discovery of a synthetic food that could end famine for an earth colony on Cygnia Minor, Doctor Thomas Leighton, Kirk's friend, manages to divert the Enterprise. Kirk finds it's a ruse to expose an actor who "Tom" believes is in fact Kodos the Executioner. Unconvinced at first, Kirk soon finds his friend murdered and decides to investigate. When he offers passage to Benecia for actor Anton Karidian and company, deadly accidents occur aboard the starship. Could Karidian be Kodos the Executioner?
